The architecture, through temperature and water , compress 300-years into a 50-years restoration project —- Fir Brewing. The site is located in an apple orchard in Da-Yu Mountain, Taichung. Cause of excessive development of human, munjacs, which were forced to move to higher altitude to live brought seed of fir back to orchard when they eat apples which are eliminated by farmers. Then, firs and apple mixed in orchard. It makes the original sweet apple with unique fragrance of fir flavor, become more popular and expensive. There forms an interesting symbiotic relationship among farmer, muntjac, apple and fir.In recent years, with the rise of environmental awareness, the government decided to retake those apple orchards. But the means is too intense to terminate symbiotic loop and produce landslides. The project studies how to understand and interpose in the natural cycle gently, through the construction methods, which integrate animal, plant, geographical environment systems. Combining human and natural to repair past damage, which caused by improper execution. At the same time as accelerating starter to restart the natural cycle.
