我的畢業設計以現實環境為起始點,希望找尋關於生活新的想像機會。而畸零地特殊的空間背後蘊含著具歷史深度的人文因素,因此我以此作為出發點,對現行城市提出自己的宣言。基地位於台南市中西區的三合里與普濟里,在不同時代的開發之下,基地內許多地籍被切分為不規則狹小的畸零地,造成城市呈獻著破碎的都市樣貌。我將基地分為三部分進行討論,一是連結護安宮與媽祖樓的兩塊康樂街側三角型空間;另一是四十米海安路兩側的零碎空間;第三是隱藏於街廓中,具宗教精神性的普濟殿廟埕廣場。希望藉由設計的置入賦予被時代邊緣化的空間更為關鍵性的空間角色。
面對康樂街側的兩塊三角形畸零地空間,我以模組化的結構系統區分空間機能,並作為街道與巷弄的緩衝區也作為廟宇活動的延伸場所;同時整理海安路兩側六處畸零地空間,並置入相應的公共機能,試圖重新回應四十米道路至兩米街廓巷道之間的介面關係;普濟殿廟埕周遭的畸零地分布較為零碎,我將三個街廓內的廣場為節點,以畸零地作為串聯彼此的動線,使之整體成為一多點式的文化園區,並重新圍塑原有街區紋理。
藉由三種設計對策回應三個區域的的都市現況,並以彼此作為對照,希望我們所生活的城市能有更多欣賞與想像的可能。
My graduation design is based on the observation of the real environment, hoping to find the new imaginative about living. Behind the special space of the deformed land, there are lots of historical and cultural factors involved, so I use this as a starting point to put forward my own criticism and declaration of the current city. The site is located in West Central District, Tainan City. Many cadastres in the site have been divided into deformed lands, making the city difficult to develop and present a fragmented urban appearance. The design starts with three different space types. One is the the two Triangular space connect the Hu’an Temple and the Mazu Temple; the other is the fragmentary space on both sides of the 40-meter Hai’an Road; the third is Pujidian Temple Square, which is hidden in the street block. Hoping these marginalized space will be given a more critical spatial role through the placement of design.
Facing the two opposite triangular spaces on the side of Kangle Street, I design open spaces in the center. Which serves as a buffer zone between streets and lanes and as an extended place for temple activities. There are six deformed land on both sides of Hai’an Road. I re-respond to the interface relationship between the 40-meter road and the 2-meter roadway with these tiny space design. As for the surroundings of the Puji Temple, I make the three squares in the blocks as nodes, and use the deformed lands to connect each other. Making it a multi-point cultural park as a whole and re-enclose the original urban textures with a human scale.
With three design strategies to respond to the current urban conditions, I hope that the city we live in will have more possibilities for appreciation and imagination.
