When the industrial time stop running , the mine system which regard as an artificial space deeply dig into nature and gradually become part of nature ,as people return to the naturalize mine space, the sunshine which used to determine time has been isolated, the original artificial frame become unfamiliar under nature action,and the time transfer into space,and the space represent nature .In the summer of 2010 ,Zhou Chao-nan , an original miner in Rui Shan mine cooperation dedicated himself in the protection of the mine culture of Taiwan, undertook the repairment project of main tunnel using the original technic of the tunnel repairment but with a different purpose and meaning .
My design expected to rebuild the front 200 m tunnel which has been already repaired ,and it will continuous the repairment to the 450m Hou Tong optimus dome,the original tunnel will transfer into the measurement for observe the nature time, as nature collapse,I will add observation space which can transfer time into space,and it will also clean up the rockfall in the tunnel. When the inner space increase as the nature collapse , the rockfall which transport to the outside of th tunnel will create a new space,and the construction channel will be also used as the tourist route ,which will allowed the repairment project presenting as a dynamic exhibition and become a continuously changing “Observatory of Time.”
