Lost Landscape

If historic sites and small eats (gourmet snacking) are removed, what is left in Tainan. This study begins from exploring the dynamics of historical water movements and related landscapechanges of Tainan. (Dynamics: How and Why the changes happen.)The value of a single historical building or site may not be so immense, however, when all of them are connected in terms of time and space, a story full of history and emotion is shown. It is hoped that, this work can help natives and tourists unknowingly better appreciate the importance of water and Shui-Xian Temple(水仙宮) in the history and culture of Tainan.
