We walk upon the earth, while everything above and beneath us moves at its own rhythm, all intricately interwoven.
In the vastness of the world and the smallness of human existence, I contemplate how architectural movement can help us deeply engage with our surroundings, discovering our place in relation to the world.
Having twice danced on the edge of life’s limits, I extend my movement beyond existing mountain trails, exploring human perception and understanding of the environment. The structures we pass are shaped by the very forces of nature—the gravity of the forest canopy, the buoyancy of lake waters, the solidity of rock formations. We carve out spaces from the layers of the earth, delving into its essence, where primitive emotions intertwine with modern techniques, expanding human experience beyond its physical limits.
The untouchable becomes tangible—rising waters, floating steps, tunnels carved through interwoven rock layers, towering trees seen from beneath their shallow roots. Perhaps we get wet, only to find warmth again underground, leaning against earth walls shaped by dried stalks. Using our bodies as instruments to measure the world, we come to realize that every fragment we step upon is already connected to something far greater, extending into the vast and distant unknown.
