光可以改變空間氛圍、看見時間的流逝。燈且不再只是燈,它在虛實之間皆圍塑了自體場域。
時間性和不穩定性是我探討的兩個主軸。
物件皆處在失去平衡即會傾倒的不穩定狀態,與世界之連結僅輕輕一隅,輕重間透過光的介入相互拉扯。
鎔化就好似壞掉了但仍可被使用。
視覺(光)、聽覺(金屬鍛敲聲)、嗅覺(點燃檀香)、觸覺(椅面)散落於各點。
我的基地選擇在一個狹長梯間內,地形高低起伏與物件型態變化相互呼應,人的觀看過程、身體經驗便會隨之更動(蹲低、踮腳抬頭)。
定位皆倚著空間,同柱子般的燈頂天立地設於階梯途中,分流了行進路線。三米高的鋁造風管如整個基地的草模,本身高度變化參與了人們進入的經驗方式,將時間序列性地壓縮於當下。
Light has the power to transform spatial perception and reveal the passage of time. A lamp is no longer merely a source of illumination—it establishes its own spatial presence, shifting between the tangible and the ephemeral.
Temporality and instability are the two primary themes I explore. Every object exists in a precarious state of constant imbalance, maintaining only a fragile connection to the surrounding world. Tension unfolds between lightness and weight, mediated by the presence of light.
Melting evokes a sense of deterioration, yet retains usability. Scattered across the space, sensory elements—visual (light), auditory (the resonant clang of metal), olfactory (the scent of burning sandalwood), and tactile (the surface of a chair)—orchestrate a multi-sensory experience.
My site is situated within a narrow, elongated stairwell, where the varying elevations resonate with the shifting forms of the objects. The act of viewing and the body’s spatial experience are inherently altered—one crouches, tiptoes, or tilts their head in response.
Each element engages in a spatial dialogue. Like a structural column, a vertically extending lamp stands mid-stair, redirecting circulation. A three-meter-tall aluminum air duct serves as a conceptual model of the entire site, with its fluctuating height actively shaping the visitor’s spatial engagement, condensing time into a singular spatial moment.
