在現實與虛構之間,我們試圖取得平衡;在人為與自然之間,我們則操作建築。東眼山探索場域的設計從自然環境做起點,以人造建構的空間作為手段,而後將在整片森林當中的活動與體驗作為連結人與環境的最終目的。
《群木的贈禮》討論森林當中的建築應以什麼姿態存在,形式、材料、活動、尺度,我希望以小而輕的建築量體介入基地,降低環境的負擔,同時最大化我們對於環境的感知。在這個過程中,人們開啟各個感官 、經過各種動作,將身體知覺與內心感受綜合,進而變得豐富、開始成長。而整個探索的過程將帶我們回到起點,並重新認識環境、重新認識自己。
在此設計以東眼山作為對象,將數個機能疊合並從身體感知出發,談論人在動覺的變動中去探索的可能性,藉以引發對於空間的感受以及對於環境的反思。另外藉由建築亦能啟發使用者思考場域與自然和歷史的關係,而一座在森林中的探索場域將會是群木給我們的禮物,亦是協助我們重新向世界以及向自己探索的途徑。
Between reality and fiction, we strive to find balance; between the artificial and the natural, we operate through architecture. The design of the exploration field in Dongyanshan starts with the natural environment, using constructed spaces as a means, and ultimately aims to connect humans with their surroundings through activities and experiences within the forest.
“The Gift of Trees” explores the way in which architecture should exist within the forest, considering its form, materials, activities, and scale. I aspire to introduce small and lightweight architectural volumes into the site to minimize the environmental burden while maximizing our sensory awareness of the surroundings. Throughout this process, people activate their senses, engage in various movem, and integrate physical perception with inner feeling, becoming enriched and beginning to grow. This entire journey of exploration will eventually bring us back to the starting point, allowing us to rediscover the environment and ourselves.
This design focuses on Dongyanshan,ge integrating multiple functions and beginning with bodily perception. It examines the possibilities of exploration through kinetic changes, aiming to evoke spatial awareness and inspire reflection on the environment. Moreover, the architecture itself can encourage users to consider the relationship between the site, nature, and history. An exploration field in the forest will serve as a gift from the trees, offering us a pathway to rediscover both the world and ourselves.
