手の試行

建築空間是透過五感來體驗的。透過理論來建構設計這樣的建築是否正確？
我認為，腳踏實地親自動手去探索建築空間的方法，正是當今建築師所需要的。
我將把注重效率而建造的現有車站，透過「雙手的嘗試」重建為新的車站空間。

Is it appropriate to design such architecture by structuring it theoretically?
I believe that exploring architectural space through a rigorous, hands-on approach is exactly what is required of contemporary architects.
I will reconstruct existing train stations, which were built prioritizing efficiency, into new station spaces through manual experimentation.

建築空間とは五感で感じるものである。
そんな建築を理論的に組み立てて設計することは正しいのだろうか。
私は泥臭く手を動かすことで建築空間を模索していく方法こそが、
現在の建築家に求められていることだと感じる。
効率化を重視して建てられた現在の駅を「手の試行」で新たな駅空間として再構築する。
