本論文提出一幅百年城市願景假説：將四十公尺以下的都市區域逐步歸還自然，
現代城市則於高空與地下持續發展。
這為香港老舊唐樓的傳統重建提供了替代方案，從由上至下的威權控制，
轉向人類、建築與自然三方協同創作。
提案拒絕全盤拆破的絕對權力，重新將設計師定義為引導者而非形式的獨裁者。

“The boundary between your debris and our roots has dissolved…
The city below forty meters has been reclaimed. After humans left the ground, technology
advanced faster than expected. Yet climate change has not slowed, and humans are still
debating their place in nature.
Now, we no longer occupy the land; we have become the land itself…”
This thesis proposes a speculative, 100-year urban vision where the urban zone below 40
meters is gradually given back to nature, while the modern city continues to develop above
and underground.
It serves as a counter-proposal to the traditional renewal of Hong Kong’s aging tenement
buildings, shifting from top-down human control to a collaborative, tripartite authorship
between the human, buildings, and nature. By rejecting the totalizing authority of traditional
demolition, the project questions absolute architectural dominance, positioning the human
designer as a facilitator rather than a dictator of form.
